Cem Kesemen

Everyone is good at something.

I am very good at
making things usable.

Iā€™m a designer & researcher who recently moved to Toronto Canada flag,
and is currently freelancing while looking for new opportunities.

I practice human-centered design with a focus on usability and accessibility, follow ethical design principles, and love building tools that empower people.

A master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction from Uppsala Universitet in Sweden and experience in multiple industries including finance, automotive, and education enable me to help create perfect user experiences for everyone.

Side Projects

Design communities are trying to use free Slack workspaces as their online forum, and that only works so well. Soon, talk.some.design will get them to communicate like it’s 1999.

Arriving is the easiest part of moving to a new country; the hassle starts once you land. I plan to develop tools and information -publicly, from research to launch- to alleviate the pain of settling in.
